The Farming for Water EIP project led by the Local Authority Water Programme’s (LAWPRO) in partnership with Teagasc and Dairy Industry Ireland has funded an innovative willow bed on the land of Mike and Bernie O’Sullivan, Cordal, Castleisland, Co. Kerry.
Contractor Mobilisation Fee – Excavator
This is a fee payable to facilitate the use of an excavator on a farm for putting in place the following measures:
Hedgerow Establishment cross slope on low earthen mound
Small Scale Wetland Pond
Earthen Bund
Swale
Water Bars
Sediment Traps
Culverts
Watercourse Crossing/Bridges
Gateway Relocation
Willow Beds
Farmyard Settlement Tank
Bunded Drain
The fee is to cover the transport of the excavator to the farm and is a one-off payment (€200).
